Chemiplas NZ & Nubana at the Natural Health Products Suppliers Day 2018
The Chemiplas NZ food team was lucky enough to receive an invite to Natural Products Suppliers Day 2018.
The event brought together some 150 suppliers, manufacturers and other industry members to share new ingredients, products and technologies. It provided valuable networking opportunity and set the stage for further cooperation among local and international businesses. Participants on the day had the opportunity to present on a topic of their choice.
Chemiplas presented material on Nubana, Banana Flour and highlighted the below aspects;
- 100% Whole Fruit , minimally processed.
- Clean Labelling - Dried green bananas, green banana flour.

Three different product lines;
- N100: Texturising native starch, excellent water binding - good for cooking.
- P500: Pre-gelatinised starch, viscous in cold water, high water absorption, excellent water binding.
- RS65: Nutritional native starch, very high in resistant starch and slowly digestible starch. Insoluble dietary fibre.
